1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are generally grouped into four categories according to their purpose:

3. Cookies used on this site
sedan.com.tr sets no cookies of its own and does not use your browser's local storage. The Site has no functional, performance (analytics) or targeting/advertising cookies, no tracking pixel and no third-party advertising network.
The Cloudflare infrastructure that hosts the Site may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the Site against misuse and automated attacks. These cookies are not used for advertising or profiling.
Security cookies that Cloudflare may set are used only while the relevant security feature is active:
- __cf_bm (Cloudflare): to tell automated (bot) traffic apart; expires after 30 minutes of inactivity
- cf_clearance (Cloudflare): to remember that you passed a security check; set only when such a check is shown, and short-lived
On pages with the quote form, Cloudflare Turnstile receives technical signals from your browser (IP address, browser information) to protect the form against automated submissions. Turnstile is not used for advertising or profiling; according to Cloudflare, the signals it collects are strictly necessary for this purpose.
4. Third-party cookies
The Site loads no content or tracking tool belonging to third parties such as maps, advertising networks, social media plug-ins, or analytics providers.
If this changes in future, this policy will be updated and the necessary consent mechanisms (such as a cookie consent notice) will be added to the Site.
5. Cookie retention period
Because the Site sets no cookies of its own, it defines no cookie retention period. The lifetimes of Cloudflare's security cookies are given above, under 'Cookies used on this site'.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies. You can view, delete, or block cookies from your browser's settings menu:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage website data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Because browser vendors change these menus from time to time, we recommend checking your browser's help pages for the current steps.
7. Effect of refusing cookies
Because the Site uses no cookies for its own functions, blocking cookies does not stop you from browsing it.
If you block Cloudflare's security cookies, you may in some cases see an additional security check before reaching the Site or submitting the quote form.
8. Changes to this policy
This Cookie Policy is updated whenever a new cookie is added to the Site or its purpose changes.
