What needs solving in your building?

We don't catalogue systems — we start from the problem. Start wherever your situation fits.

Which one is your situation?

DIN-rail controller modules in an automation panel, with a monitoring screen behind

01 · Siemens · Building automation

Lighting, climate and fire sit on three separate screens; none of them sees the others.

Desigo building automation brings lighting, climate control and fire signals together on one management screen. With the KNX building control, Connect Box IoT and HVAC product lines, the systems see each other.

Trimbox GOLD surge protector in a distribution panel

02 · Trimbox · Surge protection

Something happens on the grid overnight, and by morning three cards, one drive and four cameras are gone.

Protection is not one device but a staged chain — class B (Type 1) at the main panel, class C (Type 2) at sub-panels, class D (Type 3) in front of sensitive equipment, and a separate arrester on the data line. We select the model to match the application.

CCTV monitor wall and a structured cabling rack in a control room

03 · Low-voltage systems

Access control with one contractor, cameras with another, public address with a third. When something fails, nobody owns it.

We deliver the whole of low voltage under a single contract: access control, CCTV, structured cabling, public address and emergency announcement, perimeter security, intercom. One contractor, one responsible party, one point of contact.

A row of gas suppression cylinders with their valves and discharge pipework in a separate cylinder room

04 · Rotarex · Fire suppression

You have detection; once the alarm sounds, who puts the fire out?

Complete suppression systems for server rooms, electrical cabinets, paint booths and kitchen hoods — clean agent, inert gas, CO2, water mist, foam and dry chemical. We pick the agent for the volume being protected, engineer the system and commission it.

Wall-mounted LED digital clock in a hospital corridor

05 · Gorgy Time · Adder · Master clock system

The nurses' station, the operating theatre corridor and the emergency department show three different times.

A master clock system ties the whole hospital to a single time reference — duty records, access logs and automation all see the same second. An incident investigation is only possible if the clocks agree.

06 · Maintenance and service

Installation is done, warranty is done; who do you call now when something fails?

We maintain the systems we install; on sites under a maintenance agreement we keep permanently employed staff on hand.

Maintenance and service

After installation

If it fails at 03:00, who turns up?

We maintain the systems we install — a fire panel fault is not an inconvenience, it is a regulated event.

Maintenance and service scope

Before you ask

The three things everyone asks at this stage

What scope do you work under — supply only, or turnkey?

We deliver whichever of four scopes you want, and which one we're in is written in a single sentence in the contract:

  • Supply only — materials arrive to your project spec, installation is yours.
  • Design + installation — we design the system, we install it.
  • Design + installation + maintenance — the system stays with us after commissioning.
  • Turnkey — we are the single point of responsibility through to acceptance testing.

Items we leave out of scope are also written separately in the quote; we don't use the phrase "everything included".

Does it install on top of our existing system, or is everything replaced?

First we inventory the existing infrastructure: cabling class and capacity, panel locations, existing panel/server make and firmware versions, state of documentation. We use what's usable; what isn't, we state with the reason — for example, if the existing cable category can't carry the new camera's data rate, we say so from measurement, not guesswork.

On most sites the result is a mix: the backbone is kept, endpoints and panels are renewed. A complete from-scratch installation is usually an unnecessary cost.

Where do we start — a survey, or a specification?

Either. If you have a specification, single-line diagram or room schedule, we price directly. If not, we start with a survey: facility use type, floor area, existing infrastructure and critical rooms are identified, and we write the proposed scope.

Either way we respond in writing within 24 hours — if a survey is needed, we confirm the survey date in that same reply.

Quote

Tell us about your facility, we'll work out the scope

It's fine if you're not sure which system you need: write the floor area, use type and existing infrastructure, and we'll respond with a scope proposal and written quote.
