Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors of the website ('Site') belonging to SEDAN Mühendislik Elektrik Mekanik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.

2. Information processed through the Site

The Site has no account and no newsletter sign-up. The quote form on the Site asks for your name, company, phone, e-mail, facility or system details and your message, and lets you attach files if you wish; this information is delivered as an e-mail to info@sedan.com.tr (an attached file as an attachment to that e-mail) and is not recorded in a database on the Site.

You can also contact the Company directly through the phone number and e-mail address shown on the Site. How the information you share through the form and these channels is processed is set out in the Personal Data Protection Notice.

When you visit the Site, as with any website, the technical information your browser sends (IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, the time of access) is processed by the hosting infrastructure in order to deliver the Site to you and keep it secure.

3. Information not collected

The Site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser's local storage.

The Site has no visitor-statistics (analytics) tool, no advertising tracking cookie, no tracking pixel and no third-party advertising network.

No profiling based on visitor behaviour is carried out.

Personal data is never sold, and is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Storage and security of data

The Site contains no database that records form data. Information shared through the quote form, by phone and by e-mail is kept in the Company's e-mail system for the purpose of handling your request.

Appropriate technical and administrative measures are taken to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the data.

• Access to the e-mail server uses an encrypted connection (TLS).
• Only authorised employees can access the e-mail accounts and request correspondence.

5. Third-party service providers

• Hosting and content delivery: the Site is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare processes your IP address and the technical details of the request in order to deliver the Site to you and protect it against misuse, and may use security cookies for that purpose (see the Cookie Policy). Quote form submissions pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure while they are delivered as an e-mail.
• Form security: the quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell automated submissions apart; Turnstile assesses your IP address and browser information.
• E-mail: form submissions and e-mails are stored on the servers in Türkiye of the Türkiye-based provider DorukNet.

Cloudflare is established abroad.

These transfers to Cloudflare are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.

6. Retention period

Because the Site does not record form data in a database, no request record is stored on the Site.

After a form submission, an automatic confirmation e-mail stating that your request has been received is sent to the address you typed; it does not contain the information you entered in the form.

Information shared through the quote form, by phone and by e-mail is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request, and is deleted or anonymised at the end of that period.

• Correspondence and documents relating to requests that lead to a contract: 10 years, the period set for commercial books and documents by Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code and for the general limitation period by Article 146 of the Turkish Code of Obligations
• Requests that stay at the quotation stage and do not lead to a contract: for as long as evaluating and answering the request requires; they are deleted once that purpose no longer applies

8. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law or updates to how the Site operates.

The current version is always published on this page; the update date at the top of the page is changed accordingly for material changes.
