Rotarex Firetec offers two solutions designed to protect vehicle engines. The FireDETEC R107 Dry Chemical System is a comprehensive fire protection solution that uses a fluorine-free powder as the extinguishing agent. It is certified according to the UNECE R107 standard and protects the engine compartments of category M2 and M3 passenger transport vehicles such as coaches and buses, covering Class 1 for standing passengers, Class 2 urban buses and Class 3 for seated passengers.

The second solution is COMPACT LINE, a high-pressure water mist system suitable for many applications. It detects and suppresses fire within seconds, preventing major damage to the engine and stopping it from spreading to the rest of the vehicle. COMPACT LINE is the smallest UNECE R107 certified water mist fire suppression system on the market.
