The FireDETEC Electrical Cabinet Direct System is a complete pre-engineered system designed to protect electrical enclosures and circuitry, delivered with everything needed in one box. It is intended for very small enclosed spaces and hard to reach areas of less than 2 m3. The system is fully automatic: it detects and suppresses fire on its own and requires no power supply.
The detection tube is installed directly inside the small electrical cabinet, close to where a fire could break out, so detection is fast. In a direct system the extinguishing agent is discharged through the burst hole that forms in the FireDETEC pneumatic detection tube itself. The system is already protecting thousands of installations worldwide, in applications such as hotels and restaurants, housing and electrical control panels.
