FireDETEC Electrical Cabinet Indirect Systems
Indirect pre-engineered fire suppression for individual electrical cabinets of any size
Manufacturer product images · for reference

The FireDETEC Electrical Cabinet Indirect System is a complete pre-engineered system for individual electrical cabinets, designed to protect enclosures and circuitry and supplied with everything needed in one box. It works fully automatically and autonomously, detecting and suppressing fire without any power supply. The detection tube is installed directly inside the cabinet, close to where a fire could break out, which keeps detection times short and covers enclosures of all sizes.
Electrical cabinets combine hardware and cabling that can overheat or ignite after a short circuit or overload, and a fire there means damage to circuitry, work stoppage and extensive cleanup if a sprinkler system discharges. UL and FM approved versions of the system are available, and the agent can be selected from CO2, FK-5-1-12 or HFC-227ea. The system already protects thousands of installations worldwide, in data centres, museums, offshore platforms, mining and electrical control panels.
