INEREX by Rotarex Firetec is a complete inert gas total flooding fire suppression system that includes all the components needed to configure an installation, with compatibility, performance testing and certification already carried out. Product performance and the production site are tested and certified by UL, FM and VdS. Cylinders are available in 80 L and 140 L, at both 200 and 300 bar, and all inert gas types are supported: IG-01, IG-100, IG-55 and IG-541. The system covers single-zone and multi-zone protection.
The patented constant-flow pressure regulator reduces discharge pressure from 300 bar to a stable 40-60 bar while still delivering the design quantity within 60 seconds. It prevents discharge freezing and pressure peaks and allows low-pressure schedule 40 manifolds and pipework that are easy to install. After a discharge the regulator is removed, recharged and reconnected with no reconditioning; functional tests are possible while the system is armed. Silent nozzles keep discharge noise below the 110 dB danger level, protecting hard disc drives in data centres and server rooms.
