TRIPLESTAR is a complete fire suppression system designed to protect domestic kitchens, supplied with everything needed in one box. It protects the cooking zone directly above where a fire can break out, works fully automatically without an additional power supply, and is operational 24/7 with no action required by the end user. The system uses a proprietary continuous linear pneumatic tube that both detects the fire and actuates release of the extinguishing agent, which is more flexible, more space-efficient and more cost-effective than mechanical or electronic alternatives.
The flexible sensor tubing is installed directly into the extraction duct, right above the cooking appliances, and is pressurised in service with dry nitrogen at 16 bar; this pressurisation makes the tubing more reactive to heat. If a fire breaks out, the heat bursts the tube at a nearby spot at approximately 175 C. The resulting sudden pressure drop actuates the pressure differential valve, which instantly floods the cooking area with class F/K extinguishing agent, so the fire is suppressed shortly after the outbreak and damage is minimised.
