RX5112 is a complete UL, FM and VdS approved total flooding fire suppression system using FK-5-1-12 extinguishing agent, and has been installed in thousands of installations worldwide. FK-5-1-12 combines safety, negligible environmental impact and extinguishing performance: it is electrically non-conductive, non-corrosive and leaves no residue after a discharge, with zero ozone depletion potential, a five-day atmospheric lifetime and a global warming potential below 1.
Cylinders are available from 30 L to 180 L, with filling ratios from 0.4 kg/L to 1.2 kg/L and fill pressures of 25 bar, 34.5 bar and 50 bar; a version with an integrated solenoid actuator is also offered. The system suppresses fire in a few seconds and leaves nothing to clean up, so operations resume without interruption. It needs less room for cylinder storage, can be installed in confined spaces and is safe for people. Typical applications are data centres, museums, offshore platforms, laboratories and industrial production.
